Who it is for

Teams about to launch a new onboarding path, a guided tour, or a “getting started” checklist inside a task manager, notes app, or calendar.

What you leave with

A day-by-day account of what new users actually open, where they stall, and which promised features never appear in that first week of real work.

Scope

Five to eight new users. Two observed sittings each (day one and day five to seven), plus a short written diary they keep in between. Focus stays on first-week behaviour, not long-term power use.

Who runs it

Observed by Farid Hassan. Diary prompts are sent in English.

How the weeks run

  1. Agree the first-week feature list and the kind of work the new user is trying to finish.
  2. Recruit and schedule day-one sittings.
  3. Collect diary notes and return for the second sitting.
  4. Write the week map and hold the readout.

Place and preparation

Day-one sittings are usually in our Batu Caves rooms or at the participant’s workplace in the Klang Valley.

Share the current getting-started path and a test account. Tell us what a “successful first week” would look like in the person’s own work, not in your release notes.

Limits

We will not coach participants through the tour. If they skip it, that skip is part of the record.

Fee

From RM 6,400 for five participants in the Klang Valley. Extra sittings or travel to Johor Bahru or Penang are quoted separately.

Next step

Send the onboarding path and the week you plan to watch. We will say whether we can recruit in time.
