How we handle personal information
This notice explains what Socket Vertex Hub collects when you write to us, visit this site, or take part in a feature adoption sitting, and how long we keep it.

What we collect
From an enquiry: name, email, the sitting you asked about, the name of a productivity app if you give it, a preferred start window, and your message. From a commissioned study: contact details of your staff, screening notes, session notes, and — only with written consent — audio or screen recordings of participants. From this website: the pages requested by your browser, and a cookie that stores whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies (see cookies).
We do not ask for identity-card numbers, bank passwords, or health records on this site. Do not put those in the message field.
Why we use it
To reply to an enquiry, to run the fieldwork you commissioned, to write a brief that does not name participants unless they agreed, to keep invoices, and to remember your cookie choice. We do not sell lists of product leads or of study participants.
Retention
Enquiry messages that do not become a study are kept for twelve months, then deleted from our mailbox archive unless a legal claim requires them. Study notes and briefs are kept for three years after the final invoice, which is long enough to answer a follow-up without repeating the sitting, then destroyed or anonymised. Invoices follow Malaysian tax retention rules. Cookie choice stays in your browser until you clear it.
Your rights
You may ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it when we have no remaining duty to keep it. Participants may withdraw from a sitting; we will not force a quote into a brief after that withdrawal. Write to the email above. We aim to answer within thirty days.
International transfers
Our practice is in Malaysia. If a product group sits abroad and we use video, the call may pass through the provider’s servers outside Malaysia. We will name that provider in the quote when video is required. We do not send participant recordings to a public model or an overseas panel company.
Children
We do not study people under eighteen in feature adoption work for productivity apps, and this site is not aimed at children.
Changes
If this notice changes in a material way, we will update this page and, for people in an active study, mention it in email.
